Jeff Mushell: Podcast 060

I sat down with Jeff in March of 2023 to record this podcast on a whim after a cancelled flight and a drive to a different airport. I had a lot of travel going on at the time and by the time I got around to editing the last episode, Jeff had hit me up about not posting the episode due to a significant life change since we recorded it. This past weekend I finally got to sit back down with Jeff and wrap-up the discussion with what transpired after our initial recording and then to add even more manufacturing discussion into the mix. This might be the longest episode we’ve posted, but if you have any interest in machining, manufacturing, or industrial stuff in general, it’ll be worth the listen.

John Corts: Podcast 059

John and I sat down 5 months ago to record this podcast episode in an effort to maintain consistent podcast uploads and get back on track with regular episodes – we all see how that worked out. I have another episode (maybe 2?) on deck, but making no promises as to when you’ll get to hear those. For now, give this a listen/watch.

Style for Myles Jam Wrap-Up: Podcast 057

The Styles for Myles Jam happened on October 8, 2022. The backstory to the jam is mostly told in the first podcast episode found here. Jordan and Kate wanted to do a follow-up after the jam was finished, but it took some time and coordinating before we could lock in a time. Fast-forward to the end of November and we finally sat down to record the wrap-up. For a handful of reasons, mostly discussed in the post for the last episode, this is just finally making its way online.

Two-for-one Special: Episodes 049 and 050 are live!

After a long break between the last few episodes, it feels good to have a few on-deck. But due to the urgency with which I want to get episode 050 out to everyone, I’m dropping both episodes 049 and 050 together.

Episode 049 is a solo-cast recorded while driving from Pittsburgh, PA to Binghamton, NY and discusses some supply chain issues with pegs, hints at upcoming jams, and pitches some alternate podcast episodes that may be on the horizon.

Episode 050 is with Derek Nelson and details some of the headaches he has had with the town where his park, HCS, and fabrication business, Spooky Action Industrial Arts, is located. There’s a GoFundMe, as well as several other links below.

Episodes are after the jump!

Josh Sorrentino and Kevin Czuba: GrindWorks Podcast 048

This episode went live earlier today and I didn’t have time to make a formal post about it. If you’ve seen or listened to it already, thank you! If not, well here you go! Episode 048 is with Josh Sorrentino and Kevin Czuba. They hung out in Pittsburgh over a month ago and I just never put it online.
